Prior to field construction, input from skilled and experienced construction supervisors can play a pivotal role in developing realistic project schedules and working out the logistics required to seamlessly transition from procurement, through construction, and into commissioning. Once a project hits the field, skilled construction supervision is likely the most important factor relating to overall project success.
Drifter Projects has a well-developed pool of Construction Supervisors who bring a wide breadth of experience in supervising projects ranging in size from small oilfield facilities with a field construction cycle of less than 30 days, to large-scale SAGD facilities with field construction cycles spanning multiple years.
These Construction Inspectors have the ability to effectively organize and supervise all on-site labor contractors while ensuring that all contractors have the materials and equipment required to perform as per the details of their contracts. Our Construction Supervisors will ensure all applicable code requirements are met while effecting continued progress towards the timely completion of a project.
Drifter’s Construction Inspectors are also experienced enough to meaningfully participate early in the design and project-execution-planning stages of your project. Continuity throughout the transition from design to construction will allow our inspectors to review all mechanical designs and prints provided, ensuring the drawings are complete sufficient that all equipment and materials are installed according to design.
Our field inspectors also play a pivotal role in cost control via responsibility for daily cost tracking of all field-incurred costs.
